With over 10 years of culinary expertise in Caribbean cuisine and having cooked for big celebrities like Drake and The Weeknd, Chef Jae-Anthony is an award-winning trailblazer in the world of modern fusion dishes and the mastermind behind the Famous Montreal Style Jerk Chicken Poutine. In 2021, Jae-Anthony competed and appeared as a judge on Top Chef Canada and was featured in Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants magazine for his innovative Italian-Caribbean dishes. He also develops recipes for Crust & Crate, sister company to Gabrielle Pizza, with over 50 locations in Ottawa, Canada. His latest culinary venture is Tropikàl Restobar in Montreal, Canada, that offers a unique and luxurious menu and an exclusive rum-fuelled cocktail bar. With every new dish he creates, Chef Jae-Anthony aims to break cultural barriers for Black chefs while shifting cultural biases around Caribbean cuisine. Most recently, Chef Jae-Anthony was an official Judge on Wall of Chefs in 2022. He was also featured on the cover of the latest edition of the Air Canada En Route magazine being named best trailblazer for his restaurant Tropikal.
