Spencer Watts is known for his big energy, approachable cooking style, and expert culinary skills. A longtime Gusto TV fan favorite, he has brought his signature enthusiasm to several beloved series and specials, including Fish the Dish, Spencer’s BIG 30, Watts on the Grill, Spencer and Robert’s Game Day Buffet, and Watts Up for the Holidays.
Growing up in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland, Spencer was inspired by the incredible variety of fresh, local ingredients around him. His passion for food started early, leading him to enter culinary competitions in high school before training at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver.
After honing his skills in acclaimed kitchens including The Westin Grand and C Restaurant, Spencer went on to become a restaurateur and television host. He continues to share his love of food and flavor through his own line of Chef’s Day Off dressings.
