BLITZ! is a new show from Gusto TV, in more ways than one! How is it different? All episodes are shot live to tape with chefs, real-time cooking and conversation, hidden strobe lights, old movies on a big screen, graffiti, trivia, corny jokes, even impromptu visits from the crew and staff… different enough?

BLITZ! gets its name from the pace and movement of both the chefs and the cameras. It’s more than a cooking show; it’s an experience and adventure. Imagine being in the kitchen with your favourite Gusto TV hosts as they prepare meals they love, enjoy, and make all the time… Their only instructions are choosing what to cook? Pick dishes you can cook in your sleep and have fun!

Chris Knight, Gusto TV’s rarely seen CEO, Executive Producer, occasional director, writer, and bon vivant is finally stepping in front of the camera – introducing the chefs, prompting them with questions about the dishes, quizzing them on trivia and points of style, and possibly even stirring a pot or two. Yes, in both meanings of that phrase.

First-season guest chefs include former Gusto TV hosts Natalia Machado (Chef at Ferreira Café in Montreal), Vanessa Gianfrancesco (, and Derek Dammann (Owner of Maison Publique in Montreal); and Gusto newbies Kyle Crawford (social media influencer, Toronto-based food stylist) and Eva Chin (Executive Chef at Avling in Toronto).
