Lisa Nguyen is the Marketing & Communications Lead at the Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship Foundation where she combines her culinary experience with her marketing background. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Lisa credits her skills and passion to growing up watching her mom in the kitchen and visiting the market with her parents, as they carefully selected fresh ingredients. Everything she knows about Vietnamese cooking comes from home experience. Her goal is to encourage Canadians to broaden their horizons and dive deeper into traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Lisa is currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
