Gusto Worldwide Media Inks Major Content Deal with Australia’s SBS Food

Cannes, France October 15, 2018 – Gusto Worldwide Media confirmed today the sale of over 40 hours of original programming to SBS Food in Australia. The deal includes five cooking shows, for a total of 86 episodes. All series will be available to over 4 million viewers on SBS Food, the first and only free-to-air 24/7 food channel in Australia; and later on SBS On Demand for Australian audiences to view anytime, anywhere, absolutely free.

SBS Food curates entertainment that celebrates diversity and features fresh approaches to food. The content in this deal reflects SBS’s commitment to deliver multicultural programming to Australians. The sale includes the following series: One World Kitchen (28 x 30’); Bonacini’s Italy (15×30’); The Urban Vegetarian (15 x 30’); The Latin Kitchen (15 x 30’), and; Spencer’s BIG 30 (13 x 30)

One World Kitchen is a bright and vibrant cooking series featuring diverse cuisine from around the world. Over three seasons, nine cuisines are featured, including: Argentinian, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Greek, Lebanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

Bonacini’s Italy is a sophisticated cooking series featuring celebrity Chef Michael Bonacini as he cooks up diverse, sumptuous Italian fare. Set in a contemporary kitchen, Michael explores 15 different regions of Italy by preparing dishes unique to each local tradition.

The Urban Vegetarian is a chic and modern cooking series featuring quirky-cool host Desiree Nielsen, who transforms everyday veggies into delightful dishes and decadent desserts.

The Latin Kitchen is an upbeat food series that explores Latin recipes and cooking techniques from Mexico, Spain, and Venezuela.

Spencer’s BIG 30 is a fast-paced series featuring healthy, family-style meals made in around 30 minutes, for around 30 dollars.
