Ingredients

¼ cup (60ml) vegetable oil

1 scallion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon (15ml) paprika

1 tablespoon (15ml) dried chilli flakes

1 tablespoon (15ml) tomato paste

2 tablespoons (30ml) apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon (5ml) dried oregano

 

Method

In a small frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.

Add tomato paste, spices and scallion, and cook for 10 minutes while stirring constantly.

Add vinegar, and cook for 2 minutes.

Remove from heat, and let cool at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Reserve for plating.
