Cantaloupe Banana Kale Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic coconut water bottle
  • 1 cup fresh cantaloup, cubed
  • 1 cup, frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen organic kale
  • ½ cup plain organic Greek yogurt
  • 3 dates, pitted
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • ½-1 inch piece fresh ginger

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender, starting with the coconut water at the bottom, followed by the fresh cantaloup and the rest of the ingredients, and puree until smooth.
  2. Pour into a silicone small cube tray or mould and freeze. Use a spatula to fill the cubes evenly and gently drop the mould on the counter to remove any bubbles and ensure each cube is properly filled.
  3. Freeze for a few hours or overnight. Push or pop the cubes out of the tray and place into a silicone freezer bag.  These cubes can be stored in the freezer for at least one month.
