French Omelette | Cook like a Chef

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chives to garnish

 


 

Method:

Crack three eggs into a medium bowl.

Whisk eggs until whites and yolks are combined.

Melt butter in a non-stick pan over low heat.

Swirl the butter around the pan and up the sides to coat the pan.

Add eggs to the pan and cook over low heat.

Move the center of the eggs in the pan with a rubber spatula.

Cook until the sides of the omelette are set and the center is still slightly runny.

Fold omelette on one side into the center.

Fold the opposite side to the center.

Flip onto plate, with the seam on the bottom.

Garnish with a crack of black pepper and chives.
