Ottawa, Canada, April 22, 2021 – Gusto Worldwide Media is proud to announce Cook Like a Chef has won two prestigious TASTE AWARDS for ‘Best in Canada’ and ‘Breakout Foodies of the Year’.
Cook Like a Chef began 20 years ago as a ground-breaking series that featured five young chefs exploring and explaining a myriad of cooking techniques, tips, and tricks. The original series spanned six seasons with 165 episodes from 2001 to 2004, and had won a Gourmand cooking award. The sixth season features four new chefs: Ottawa’s Katie Ardington, Montreal-based chefs Derek Dammann and Natalia Machado (One World Kitchen) and Toronto’s Craig Wong.
“Thank you to the TASTE AWARDS for recognizing Cook Like a Chef for these two distinguished awards,” said Chris Knight, President and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media. “We truly believe that food is a global language and take pride in creating the best food content to inspire all viewers to get cooking.”
The 2021 TASTE AWARDS were held virtually via YouTube Livestream and featured a star-studded lineup of celebrity presenters from the film, food and fashion television industry, including Gusto Worldwide Media’s Chris Knight.
