Grilled Broccoli Rabe (Cime Di Rapa All Griglia)
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 large bunches broccoli rabe, about 1 ½ pounds (680 g), trimmed of stalks and outer leaves
- ½ cup (120 ml) olive oil, divided, plus more for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chili flakes
- 1 lemon, zest, plus more for serving
- Fresh lemon juice, for serving
Method:
Heat grill pan to medium-high heat.
Add broccoli rabe to bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, ground black pepper, chili flakes, and lemon zest.
Grill the broccoli rabe until slightly charred and tender.
Transfer to platter and top with lemon zest, olive oil, and lemon juice.
