Grilled and Honey Glazed Fennel Wedges

Ingredients

  • 2 heads fennel, sliced into wedges, core intact
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ orange, juice and zest
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) soy sauce

Method

  • Preheat the grill to high.
  • Brush the fennel with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the fennel until charred and tender, roughly 3-5 minutes per side.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, zest, honey. Brush the fennel with this mixture while it grills.
  • Serve immediately.
