Blackberry Basil Granita

Yield: 1 cup

 

Ingredients:

1 cup (240 ml) blackberries

2 tablespoons (30 ml) lime juice

1 teaspoon (5 ml) finely chopped basil

Oysters, for serving

 

Method:

Strain blackberries. Mix with lime juice. Add basil and stir in. Pour into a small loaf pan. Freeze 8 hours, or until solid. Scrape with a fork to break up into small granules. Top freshly shucked oysters.
