Peach sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 28-ounce can of peaches
  • 2 tablespoons of minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped dried chillies
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ground allspice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Place the peaches into a blender and puree.
  2. Pour them into a saucepan on add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes until thick and syrupy.
