Maple mango BBQ sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of maple syrup (125ml)
  • ½ cup of mango chutney (125ml)
  • ½ cup of ketchup (125ml)
  • ½ cup of bottled bbq sauce (125ml)
  • ½ cup of tomato sauce (125ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger powder (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of celery salt (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon pepper (15ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of hot sauce (optional) (30ml)
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a non-reactive heavy bottomed sauce pan.
  2. Place over medium low heat and cook for 20 minutes without letting the sauce boil. Stir occasionally.
