Ingredients:

1 ½ cups (360 ml) thick full-fat yogurt

2 garlic cloves, grated

¼ cup (60 ml) finely diced red onion

¼ cup (60 ml) chopped dill

Juice and zest of half a lemon

1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground black pepper

1 medium cucumber

½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt

Method:

Combine yogurt, garlic, red onion, dill, lemon juice and zest, and pepper in a bowl and set aside.

Grate medium cucumber into a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Massage grated cucumber and squeeze into a small ball, draining as much fluid as possible.

Stir drained cucumber into yogurt mixture and chill until ready to serve.
