Ingredients:
4 cups water
½ cup salt
2 cups pecans in half
1 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked salt
Method:
1. Mix salt and water to make a salty water solution.
2. Dump pecans in water and let soak for a few hours.
3. Drain water and toss pecans with the olive oil, paprika and smoky salt.
4. Place in a cookie sheet and place in the oven at 325*for 12-15 minutes, they will dry and get all crunchy.
5. Remove and let cool before placing in a jar.
6. They can last a few weeks in the shelves, but at my house they last about 1/2 a movie.
