Ingredients:
- 150 ml whole milk
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1 tsp dried yeast
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 200 ml yogurt
- 450 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 cup ghee
- 5 cloves garlic
Method:
- In a saucepot heat milk and sugar to body temperature, then add yeast.
- Add yogurt and oil to milk.
- In stand mixer combined dry ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to stand mixer and mix to combine.
- Proof dough until doubled in size.
- Chop garlic and add to saucepan with ghee. Place on medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- Cut 20 gram balls of naan dough.
- Roll out on floured surface to a flat disc.
- Cook naan on grill pan on both sides.
- Brush with garlic ghee and serve.
