Ingredients:
1 cup flour
6 tbs cocoa powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp Baking powder
Stick of room temperature unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 whole eggs
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup boiling water
10% Milk/Cream
Chocolate Ganache/Spread
Cherries
Method:
1. Spread Chocolate Ganache/Sauce thinly onto a baking sheet and refrigerate
2. In a stand mixer, with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar
3. Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl
4. Add eggs one at a time to the butter sugar mixture
5. Add vanilla
6. Alternate between the boiling water and the dry ingredients, slowly mixing until incorporated
7. Mix the bowls together??
8. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes/ use a cake tester until it comes out clean
