Ingredients
- 4 – ½ pound Filet Mignons – 4 (250grams)
- 1 cups dried porcini mushrooms – (250ml)
- Salt & Pepper
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
- Preheat Oven 400°F
- Place porcini mushrooms into spice grinder and process until mushrooms are finely grounded.
- Sprinkle each filet with the porcini mushrooms and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in skillet and sear each filet mignons until brown on both sides.
- Place steak into broiler pan and place into the oven. Bake until meat thermometer reaches 145 degrees for media rare.
- Once the fillet is finished, remove from oven and transfer to platter and cover with foil for at least 10 before cutting.
- Serve and enjoy.
