Organic greens with grilled pear and rosewater vinaigrette
Preparation time is 20 minutes.
Ease of preparation is moderate.
Ingredients
- 3 cups of Organic Greens
- 2 Pears
- 1 Tablespoon of oil (separate)
- 2 Tablespoons of rose flower water
- ½ cup of Canola oil
- 1 Tablespoon of chives
- 1 Tablespoon of parsley
- ¼ cup white wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper
- ½ cup of rose petals
Directions
- Prepare the pears by peeling, cut in half and remove the cores.
- Lightly brush the halves with oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place onto a grill for 10 minutes on each side or until softened and set aside.
- When cooled slice each into a fan.
- In a bowl combine the rosewater, vinegar, oil, herbs and seasoning whisk to combine, toss in greens and mix to combine.
- Place in serving dishes.
- Garnish with sliced fanned pears halves and rose and rose petals.
