Grilled Tri Tip

Ingredients

  • Natural cut tritip steak – 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) thickness
  • Chimmi Churri

Directions

  1. Pour half of your chimmi churri marinade over steak and allow to marinade over night
  2. Remove from marinade and allow to come to room temperature.
  3. Heat char broiler to high
  4. Oil grill.
  5. Place steak on grill and grill for 5 minutes or until nice golden char marks are achieved.
  6. Flip and continue to cook, basting with chimmy churri sauce.
  7. Remove from grill and plate.
  8. Tent on plate with aluminum foil for 10 minutes to allow the meat to relax and reconstitute juice in meat.
  9. Carve and serve with chimmy churri sauce.
