Grilled Prosciutto Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta loaf
  • ½ cup pesto (4 fluid ounces)
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 6 ounces provolone cheese (175 grams)

Directions

  1. Slice the loaf at 2 centimetre intervals ¾ quarters of the way down, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Cut the prosciutto into small pieces and stuff a couple of spoonfuls of pesto, some prosciutto and some provolone cheese in between each slice of bread.
  3. Wrap the whole in foil and place it on the grill to bake for 20 minutes, until melted and warm.
