Robbie’s Toga Punch Recipe
This Robbie’s Toga Punch recipe is a bold, fruity party drink made with cherry and strawberry drink mixes, orange juice, lemonade, vodka, white rum, ginger ale, and sparkling wine. Featured on License to Grill with Rob Rainford, this easy large-batch punch is designed for festive gatherings, backyard parties, and entertaining a crowd.
The Inspiration
Party punch is all about convenience, colour, and big flavours, and this recipe from License to Grill embraces all three. Created for the Toga Party episode, Robbie’s Toga Punch is designed to serve a large group without requiring individual cocktails to be mixed one at a time.
Timing is important to the final texture. The ice is added shortly before serving so the punch can become properly chilled without sitting for too long and becoming excessively diluted. The ginger ale and sparkling wine are added at the last minute so they retain as much carbonation as possible.
Featured on License to Grill with Rob Rainford, this punch fits naturally into the casual, celebratory atmosphere of a backyard party. It is bright, easy to prepare, and made for sharing.

Serving Suggestions
Robbie’s Toga Punch is ideal for large backyard gatherings, summer parties, themed celebrations, and casual entertaining. Serve it from a large punch bowl or beverage cooler so guests can help themselves throughout the event.
For a Toga Party-inspired spread, pair the punch with easy appetizers, grilled meats, seafood, fresh vegetables, olives, and other shareable dishes. Its fruity sweetness works especially well with salty and savoury foods, making it a natural companion to barbecue snacks and grilled favourites.
Because the punch is already sweet and citrus-forward, simple garnishes work best. Fresh orange slices, lemon rounds, or strawberries can be added to the serving container for extra colour and presentation. For the best texture, serve the punch soon after adding the ginger ale and sparkling wine so the carbonation remains lively.
