Strawberry Sundae

Ingredients:

1 cup (240 ml) strawberries, quartered

½ cup (120 ml) sugar

1 tablespoon (15 ml) water

12 scoops vanilla ice cream

½ cup (120 ml) chocolate topping

¼ cup (60 ml) chopped peanuts

1 tablespoon (15 ml) sprinkles

 

Method:

In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, and water. Let sit until strawberries have released a sauce-like liquid, about ten minutes.

Into each of four sundae bowls, scoop three scoops of ice cream.

Top with strawberries (including liquid), chocolate sauce, peanuts, and sprinkles.
