Ingredients
- 3 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 9 oz milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 6 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
- 2&1/4 cups heavy cream (35%)
- 1 cup whole milk
Directions
- Take 6 large martini glasses or wine glasses and put them in the freezer to chill
- Melt the bittersweet chocolate (either in a bain-marie or in the microwave) in a large bowl
- Whip a ¾ cup of the 35% cream until soft peaks form
- Heat a ½ cup of the milk in a small sauce pan. Add the milk to the melted chocolate, whisking all the while.
- Add the whip cream to the bowl and continue to whisk until everything is nicely mixed
- Divide the chocolate mousse between the six glasses and return to the freezer (or the fridge if there’s no room in the freezer)
- Melt the milk chocolate (either in a bain-marie or in the microwave) in a large bowl
- Whip a ¾ cup of the 35% cream until soft peaks form
- Heat a 1/3 cup of the milk in a small sauce pan. Add the milk to the melted chocolate, whisking all the while.
- Add the whip cream to the bowl and continue to whisk until everything is nicely mixed
- Divide the chocolate mousse between the six glasses and return to the freezer (or the fridge if there’s no room in the freezer)
- Melt the white chocolate (either in a bain-marie or in the microwave) in a large bowl
- Whip a ¾ cup of the 35% cream until soft peaks form
- Heat a ½ cup of the milk in a small sauce pan. Add the milk to the melted chocolate, whisking all the while.
- Add the whip cream to the bowl and continue to whisk until everything is nicely mixed
- Divide the chocolate mousse between the six glasses and return to the fridge to chill till ready to serve
- Top with chocolate curls or whip cream with crushed nuts just before serving
