Spicy Potato Sticks

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek (15 millilitres)
  • 2 tablespoons flour (30 millilitres)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Peel the potatoes and puree them in a food processor. Add the egg and the sambal oelek. Bind the mixture together with a small amount of flour until it is slightly more liquid than mashed potato consistency.
  3. Pipe the potato mix onto a greaseproof paper-lined baking sheet into long lines. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crispy. Remove the potatoes from the oven and set aside to cook for a few minutes. Snap them into 4 centimetre lengths.
