Mozzarellissima Pizza Brochettes

Turn a classic favourite into a gourmet appetizer with these delicious and simple pizza brochettes. With juicy tomatoes and buttery mozzarella, it’s a taste the whole family can enjoy.

Yield: 21 to 24 brochettes
Ingredients
- ½ loaf herb Focaccia bread, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 7 oz (200 g) pepperoni, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 7 oz (200 g) Saputo Mozzarellissima cheese, cubed
- 1 pint (500 ml) grape tomatoes
- 1 cup (250 ml) tomato sauce or basil pesto
Directions
- Thread one piece each of Focaccia, pepperoni, green pepper, cheese and tomato onto a brochette or skewer.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 21 to 24 brochettes.
- Serve with warm tomato sauce or basil pesto sauce for dipping.
Tips:
- Get creative by adding your own favourite pizza toppings to the brochette, such as sliced mushrooms, chunks of pineapple, diced ham or red onion.
