Butter Chicken Marinade

Part 1 of Butter Chicken

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon (15 mL) garlic and ginger paste
• 1 1/2 (7 mL) teaspoons cumin
• 2 tablespoons (30 mL) red chilli powder
• 1 teaspoon (5 mL) coriander powder
• 2 teaspoons (10 mL) garam masala
• 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) turmeric
• Approximately 2 tablespoons (30 mL) lime juice
• 2 1/4 cups (500 mL) of plain, natural yogurt
• Water

Directions

1. Mix garlic and ginger paste, spices, lime juice and yogurt together.
