Yield: 1 Drink
Ingredients:
To rim the glass:
- 1 lime wedge
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Tomato Powder (see recipe [1])
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) celery salt
To mix the drink:
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) fresh horseradish, shredded
- 1 dash hot sauce
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Vodka
- 5 ounces (150 ml) Tomato Water (see recipe [2])
- 1-ounce (30 ml) clam juice
To garnish:
- 1 rib celery
- 1 tomato slice
Method:
To rim the glass:
Rub the lime wedge around the top rim of the glass.
On a plate combine tomato powder and celery salt.
Dip the lime rubbed top of the glass into the tomato powder and celery salt mixture.
To mix the drink:
Place ice into the glass.
Over the ice add horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire.
Pour vodka, tomato water, and clam juice over the seasoned ice.
To garnish:
Use the celery rib to stir the drink.
Place the tomato over the rim.
