Ingredients:
1 pound (454 g) Brussel sprouts
4 strips of bacon
¼ cup (60 ml) pecans
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper.
Method:
Trim and thinly slice Brussel sprouts.
Slice bacon into ½-inch (1.25 cm) pieces. Add bacon to skillet, then place over medium heat and fry until bacon is cooked. A few minutes before the bacon is finished, add pecans to skillet, stirring occasionally.
Add garlic and Brussel sprouts to skillet and sauté for a few minutes. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a large bowl or serving platter.
